Here is the 1948 Holiday Issue of The Indian Magazine -- Volume 1, No.2 ; the second ever -- with Johnny Lujack, All-American Football Star, on the cover with his Indian Motorcycle, wearing his Notre Dame Jersey -- lots of great motorcycle pictures and stories inside -- plus ads for Indian gear (we
shoulda ordered some!) -- one picture has Betty and Virginia Baker, the "Toni Twins" of hair wave fame; another has Bill Holland on an Arrow  -- a story on great men that rode bikes, like Eddie Rickenbacker, Charles Lindbergh, and Barney Oldfield.

John Christopher Lujack is a former American football quarterback and 1947 Heisman Trophy winner; he is currently the oldest living recipient of the Heisman Trophy.  Lujack played college football for the University of Notre Dame, and professionally for the Chicago Bears.
It measures 11 3/8" x  8 3/8" and has 34 pages.
Condition is
rough, as pictured -- all pages are present and unmarked -- it's been folded and there are stains.
